Company Story

HKB&D, a subsidiary of Catskill Vacation Home Builders, has been building custom homes, and entire communities, in New Jersey and upstate NY since 1982. HKB&D specializes in giving the client a close and personal experience in all phases of construction of their home or extensions to their home. 

HKB&D recognizes that there are two main areas which ultimately insure customer satisfaction with its final product. The first is the product itself while the other is the actual building experience in getting to that final moment. Both are equally important - but perhaps it is the latter area which sets us apart. 

HKB&D begins the construction process by working closely with its clients through the architectural and design phases, assisting them and offering its experience and contacts in all areas of the construction. After the design has been finalized HKB&D works closely with the client throughout the construction to make sure that the project is finished on schedule and according to plan. Equally important, HKB&D works hard to guarantee that the entire process remain as exciting and stress-free as possible. That element alone can influence a client's ultimate enjoyment of the final product often nearly as much as the final construction itself.
